About this piece: English musician David Bowie poses with dyed red hair and a mustard yellow suit designed by Freddie Burretti during a photoshoot for a magazine in Los Angeles in 1974. Smoking a cigarette and holding a pair of scissors, Bowie is captured during his transition from the extravagant costumes of Ziggy Stardust to the more tailored suiting of his Diamond Dog days.
